Dr. G.P. "Bud" Peterson, President of Georgia Institute of Technology, along with
Representative Terry England view a live demonstration of Barrow's Direct To Discovery (D2D) program in action.
The demonstration began with an advanced physics course at
Apalachee High School that has been enhanced with a D2D project in nanotechnology and finished with a physical science class at Haymon-Morris middle school
enhanced with sessions using a scanning electron microscope.
