All About County Line
Mission Statement for County Line Elementary County Line Elementary School’s Beliefs and Guiding Principles Special Awards and Recognitions
County Line Elementary is a K-5 school with approximately 900 students located in the northern part of Barrow County. The community of County Line was named because it borders Gwinnett, Hall, and Jackson
counties.
Our media center is the focal point of our school with books, computers, and research tools. Two of our most popular programs are R.I.O.T (Reading Instead of Television) and A.R. (Accelerated Reader). Students and staff also take advantage of many learning resources outside of the school building. County Line
has a nationally certified nature community, a butterfly garden, and Steppingstones (learning graphics painted on the school grounds).
Walking through our school, you will often see parent volunteers working with our children, assisting our teachers, and, generally, making our school a
better place! In addition to our involved parents, other members of our community are active in our school. Our business partners are involved in
many projects benefiting our school. Our partners assembled and installed some of our new playground equipment, hosted our Teacher of the Year
banquet, and attend our Student of the Month receptions. To list all that our partners do would be impossible! The care and concern that our business
partners show for the children at County Line is evident in all that they do for us.

We are thankful for our business partners and hope you will be, too. When you see them in the community, tell them thank you for the difference they make at County Line.
The dedicated staff, involved parents, and active business partners make County Line
Elementary a school that we can be proud of! Please enjoy the rest of your tour of County Line Elementary.
