Reading and encouraging students to read have created a swinging-door policy for our media center as students are constantly checking books in and out. This open access and flexible schedule allows students and teachers to make full use of the media center as an extension of the curriculum.

A signed agenda with library barcode is required for all check-outs.  Replacement barcodes are available in the media center for $1.00.

Students may check out 2 books at a time for a 2 week period.

Students must return, renew, or pay for lost books before checking out additional titles.

Reference materials, magazines, and newspapers are to be used in the media center.

Before using the computers, students must have a signed agenda indicating permission to access the Internet for classroom research only (no games, e-mail, or recreational surfing).  Students must check with the media staff before printing.  Five pages or less from the black and white laser printer may be printed at no charge. Copies are $.10 each after the first five.

The WBMS Media Center is a place to work and to enjoy. Students using the media center are expected to be considerate of others so everyone is able to use needed materials in the most expedient fashion.
