What is Future Problem Solving?
FPS is an academic competition in which students use critical thinking skills to analyze stories of conflict set in the future
to determine what problems may arise from those conflicts, which problem poses the greatest threat to those involved, and how that problem might be solved in a creative and humane way. High-achieving, creative
students with excellent writing skills are a natural fit in the FPS program.
