Is Your Student Too Sick for School?
When your student has a fever, keep them home. During the first days of illness when systems are most severe and the infection is most contagious, students should stay home. Students must be free of fever/vomiting (without the use of medication) for 24 hours before returning to school.
New 7th Grade Immunization Requirements
Before starting the school year, all students born on or after January 1, 2002 and entering or transferring into 7th grade will need proof of a whooping cough booster shot and a meningococcal shot.

Welcome to the Westside Media Center
Students may check out books any time between 7:00 am and 2:10 pm while school is in session.
Students may check out 2 books at a time unless teachers have requested other arrangements.
Books are checked out for a two week period. Books can be renewed for an additional two week period if more time is needed.
Classes come to the media center throughout the week to checkout books, do research, and to receive instruction in library skills.
If a child loses or damages a library book, he may not check out another book until the book in question is returned or paid for. If a student has outstanding library books or fees, his or her report card will be held.
