September 2018

We are so proud of our WMS/CFIT 6th grader, Emma, who participated in the Firefighter 9/11 Stone Mountain Climb with her father.  She served as a flag bearer carrying the US flag to the top along with the emergency service providers in the hike up to the top of the mountain.

June 2018

The Westside Future Problem Solvers team competed in the National FPS Competition in June 2018. The students had a great time and felt good about their work and performance. They didn't place in the top ten, but with 58 teams in their division, they accepted that result without too much disappointment. They enjoyed meeting students from other states and countries, so that was a highlight of the trip. They are determined to earn their way back to the internationals next year and make it to the top ten!

We are very proud of our FPS team! Go Huskies!
