Rebecca Gajda

I grew up in Gwinnett County, but have been a resident of Barrow County since 2006. My husband and I have three boys who attend Barrow County Schools.

The 2020-2021 school year will be my third year at Apalachee High School, but my thirteenth year teaching overall. I previously taught in Fulton and Gwinnett Counties. I also taught virtual school at Georgia Cyber Academy. I have taught many different subjects: Georgia Studies, Geography, Political Science, World History, AP World History, AP Psychology, Economics, and AP Macroeconomics.

I received my B.A. in History (2004) and my Masters in Secondary Social Studies Education (2005) from Georgia State University.
