Chef Amee has worked in the culinary industry for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University where she received her degree in culinary arts. Chef Amee began her love for cooking at a very young age, learning from her Italian Grandmother and Mother.
Chef Amee was owner and executive chef of “HodgePoges Pizza Stakes and More” restaurant in Conyers GA, “The Occasional Chef”, and “Mangia Bene Meals”. She is the creator of a proprietary spice blend produced for local shops in the Covington, GA area.
Chef Amee believes in impacting students by encouraging them to communicate well, believe they can, and show pride in the work that they do. She always reminds her students of a saying that her Grandmother lived by "Chi Mangia Bene. Vive Bene..." Who eats well, lives well.
