Marcia Crosby
Physical Education Paraprofessional
My name is Marcia Crosby and this is my third year at Bramlett as the Physical Education Paraprofessional. In my opinion, I have the best job in the entire school as I get to play all day with our kids!
I was brought up in the Western Maine Mountains where I enjoyed the great outdoors while mountain climbing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. Cross-country skiing was a part of our P.E. curriculum! When the snow was high enough, my siblings and I loved to sled off of the barn roof. This is not something I encourage, nor recommend.
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting and Drawing from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. There, I took many art education and art therapy courses. On Saturdays, I assisted an art teacher with a class of students at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and had a ball taking the children out into the museum to learn directly from the masters. In the future, I hope to earn my Master of Arts in Teaching to then have my own art room.
I have lived in the Bramlett area for 14 years with my husband, two daughters and a very NON-active cat named Mr. Pickles. We all share a love of plants and gardening, State Parks, hiking and tent camping. Since my children both graduated from Bramlett, it has been a part of my family for many years. I LOVE our students and I would not want to be anywhere else!
