Ashli Borchelt

Over the last eight years of teaching, Ashli Borchelt has been determined to help her students find their place in the world. In her classroom, creativity and high expectations weave together to create exciting and memorable learning experiences for all students. Ashli has worked to perfect the craft of teaching in ways that impact her students and challenge them, pushing them to grow and excel. She firmly believes in authentic activities that give students a hands-on approach to learning with an emphasis on critical thinking.

A 2013 honors graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in Early Childhood Education, Ashli has worked in a variety of grade levels as well as an Early Intervention Program teacher her first year. Her Gifted certification has been put to use teaching Advanced Content classes. At County Line Elementary, she is an original core team member of the APTT program and part of the school’s PBIS committee.

Instilling a love of reading has been a passion of Ashli's since she started her teaching journey. She believes that children just need to find the right book to spark that joy! She wants her students to find their voice as they figure out who they are and how they fit into the world- if there's one thing the world needs more of, it's the purity of our children.
