Tyler Roberts is a special education and behavior instructor who works with K-5th grade students in strengthening their prosocial behavioral skills and emotional self-management.
Tyler believes that every student deserves the opportunity to grow into their best self. He believes that all students have the potential to change the world. He believes that where there is struggle, there is the opportunity for growth. Where there is pain, there is the opportunity for healing. Tyler believes in advocating for all students and families.
Tyler has served as a behavior instructor at CLES since 2013. Tyler is a two-time CLES Teacher of the Year finalist. Tyler has worked with countless families in and out of the school setting to ensure that his students and their families have as much support as possible. Tyler is active planning member for the Barrow County Yes I Can! Award ceremony and adamantly believes that this program reflects the care and devotion that the Barrow County School System has for its students with special needs.
Tyler graduated with honors with his B.S. in Special Education and served as the State President of the Council for Exceptional Children’s University Chapter from 2012-2013. In 2020, Tyler earned his M. Ed in Special Education from Georgia College & State University while also earning the program’s Outstanding M.Ed. Student Award.
