Jennifer Ezell

Instructional Coach

Jennifer Ezell is an instructional coach who works with teachers, students, staff members, and administration to meet a variety of needs in our building. She believes that when you know better you do better (Thank you, Maya Angelou!) and that education is THE key to solving every problem in our world today.

Jennifer was a classroom teacher for 16 years* before transitioning into the role of instructional coach. She was nominated as teacher of the year in three different elementary schools in Hall County and recognized as teacher of the year at Friendship Elementary in 2006. Although she loves students of all ages, her passion is teaching reading to upper grades students. Jennifer has taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades over the years (and recognizes that Kindergarten and 1st grade teachers are saints).

Jennifer loves all things related to professional learning and has attended numerous workshops and conferences including the Ron Clark Academy 2012, GPEE Bus Tour 2013, ASCD Las Vegas 2013, ISTE Atlanta 2014, Georgia Gifted Conference (presenter) 2016, Georgia EdTech (presenter) 2017, The Art of Coaching Teams 2018, and EdTech Southern Summit 2017 & 2018. She is also a passionate reader and will be happy to talk about books to anyone at any time (including strangers at the grocery store).

Jennifer holds a doctoral degree in education from Piedmont College. Her dissertation is titled Self-directed learning, technology, and effective professional development for educators.
