Caitlyn McCandless

Hi! My name is Caitlyn Mccandless and I am 1st grade teacher at County Line Elementary School. This year will be my 9th year teaching. I started her teaching career in Barrow County at Yargo Elementary, had opportunities at Jackson and Gwinnett County, and have found myself back home at County Line Elementary. I am so excited to be here!

I attended the University of Georgia and received my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. (GO DAWGS!) I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was a little girl and would play school with anyone I could! I am passionate about building relationships with my students and allowing them to learn that they are important, unique, and loved.

I am happily married to my husband, Mark. We have two kids, Ryleigh and Daniel who are 4.5 and 2 years old. They keep us on our toes! We also have two labs - a yellow lab, Bosco, and a chocolate lab, Freddie. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy playing outside with my family, reading, and going to the park.

I am excited about being a part of the County Line Critter family!!
