Why you chose the profession: I have always had a deep desire to help people. My mom, knowing this, suggested speech-language pathology when I was in high school and as soon as I learned about it, I was hooked. I love the variety of challenges that our job presents and the relationships that we get to form with our students while helping them with one of their most important needs, communication!
