Courtney Franklin was born and raised in Georgia. She grew up and attended schools in Gwinnett County and graduated from Phoenix High School and went to college for two years studying Teacher Education.
In 2007, she moved to Barrow County and purchased her first home with her new husband, Brandon. She now has two handsome boys who are both enrolled in Barrow County Schools: Luke (11) attending Haymon Morris in the fall and Brantley (9) attending Bethlehem Elementary.
She started as a substitute teacher for Barrow County Schools when she first moved here then started working at her children’s elementary school in the cafeteria. She has been on the School Governance Team and is also Bethlehem Elementary’s current PTO President. In 2018, she started working in the cafeteria at Sims Academy and is now excited to start her School Nutrition Associate position at BASA!
