Derrick Maxwell

After many years in education and after serving as a principal at all three school levels, I am honored to serve as the principal of Winder-Barrow High School. I have been working with WBHS since November 2019, and during my time working with this community, I have been genuinely impressed with many distinguishing characteristics of the staff, community, district, and most of all, the students. Winder-Barrow High School is a school rich in traditions with a tremendous amount of community support, spirit, and pride. I vow to continue those traditions, while simultaneously working hard to constantly improve outcomes for our students.
