Mr. Marcus

Cliff Marcus

Assistant Principal & Speech Language Pathologist - WBHS

As I come into a new set of responsibilities here in Barrow County, I look forward to positively impacting as many students as I possibly can. I'm hoping that in this role as Assistant Principal my reach can extend beyond that of the Special Education students I've served over the last several years of my career. I'd like to be able to do this all while still diligently serving the students I've served over the last two years. I'm grateful for the opportunity I've been given by Principal Maxwell to step into a leadership position, and am glad to do so while continuing to be a GG (Double G) Dogg!

I have 16 years of experience in education. I spent two years in Muscogee as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), 11 years in Walton between SLP and Special Education Department Head, and two here in Barrow County as an SLP.

I am a Southwest Georgia native. I grew up in Albany, GA. My wife and I have three boys, two of whom keep us very busy with baseball!
