Grounds Management

Energy and Contracts Manager Allen Henriksen oversees grounds care for our system. Barrow County Schools maintains over 700 acres of property at two dozen locations.

Our current grounds care contractor is ACS Landscape Management based out of Oakwood.

• ACS Landscape Management maintains school grounds including athletic fields. Their duties include lawn maintenance, shrub pruning, detention pond cutting, application of pine straw, chemical treatments, edging, overseeding, aeration, topdressing, and other services as needed..
• All Turf Lawn Care based out of Loganville supplies chemical treatment to the high school athletic fields.
