BCSS Student Innovation Showcase

The annual Student Innovation Showcase (formerly the Student STEAM Showcase) has been a feature of the Barrow County School System's Innovative Learning Program since it's inception in 2015.

Focusing on the components of STEAM education, such as Cross-Curricular Connections, Project Based Learning, Technology Integration, the 4 C's of 21st Century Skills, the Maker Movement, Scientific & Engineering Practices, Fine Arts Integration, and Virtual Collaboration, the showcase consists of student teams that present units, lessons, activities, projects, or tools that have positively impacted their learning in an innovative way.  Each team of students has a designated space at the showcase where they can explain, demonstrate, and interact with the showcase attendees that visit the Exhibit Hall at the Center for Innovative Teaching, where the showcase is held each year.   Mark your calendar for this excellent opportunity on May 4th from 5pm to 7pm.

BCSS teachers interested in sponsoring a student team should submit a team registration form by the March 27th deadline.
