ARES Partners In Education

The Partners in Education Program strengthens our school programs and enhances our community's economic growth. We want to recognize the wonderful businesses who support ARES.

Become a Partner in Education

I would love to talk to you about this program and share some specific ways to get involved in Austin Road Elementary School (ARES). Community members and ARES parents, if you own a business or work for a business that might be interested, please feel free to email me at julia.hodges@barrow.k12.ga.us. As an ARES PIE, your business would choose opportunities to help the students, support our teachers and faculty, and be involved in our school during the year. We would be pleased to recognize you on our website, through social media, in our yearbook and on a special display in our lobby, along with other recognitions during special school events.

We believe a true partnership between the school and the community begins with a handshake that initiates working together to create the best educational experience possible for our wonderful students. Here are a few examples: be a guest speaker (or reader) in the classroom, mentor a student, volunteer at a school event (Rocket Launch in June, Sneak-a-Peek in July, Open House, Family Dance, Fall Festival, Field Day), sponsor special school activities, or sponsor student contests or achievement. There are many more options for a Partner in Education, and you may have suggestions of your own. I’d love to collaborate with you on this win-win partnership! I look forward to meeting and working with you to build the best educational opportunities for our students.

Best regards,
Julia Hodges | ARES Principal
