As a follow-up to the November 15 vaccination event, another vaccination event will be hosted at Bramlett Elementary on Monday, December 6. Students and adults will be able to get Pfizer dose 1, Pfizer dose 2, or a Pfizer booster shot. Flu shots will also be available.
The Barrow Health Department will be onsite to offer a vaccine clinic for families at BRES from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the BRES gym. (Parents, since the gym is next to the bus line, please wait until buses have cleared before attending the event.) No appointment is necessary.
Parents need to be present for children who need vaccination. If another adult family member brings your child (such as a grandparent), please provide a written note from the parent/ guardian expressing vaccination with a telephone number. A DPH nurse will call that number for verification and confirmation.
No out-of-pocket expense for anyone. If insured, please bring your card private, PeachCare, or Medicaid. The state of Georgia has a program to help those underinsured or with no insurance so everyone can celebrate the holidays and be jolly and well.
