Bramlett Elementary School is one of ten schools recognized in the state of Georgia for implementing exemplary curriculum and organizational leadership programs.

Eagle Ambassador Program

The Eagle Ambassador program is designed for students in grades 2-5 who demonstrate the emerging skills needed to develop exemplary leadership qualities: kindness, strong positive behavior, and effective communication skills. These students are carefully selected by their teachers for their potential to positively influence their peers in the school environment. The primary role of Eagle Ambassadors is to serve as mentors, helping new students transition smoothly into our school community.

Eagle Ambassadors engage in various activities that benefit both the new students and the school community as a whole. Key duties include:

  • Welcoming and befriending new students: Eagle Ambassadors actively befriend new students, making them feel comfortable and helping them integrate into their new environment.
  • Facilitating friendships: Ambassadors assist new students in meeting other peers and encourage the development of meaningful friendships.
  • Providing school tours: Ambassadors lead tours of our school, helping new students understand the layout and familiarize themselves with key locations such as classrooms, the cafeteria, special area classes, and the playground.
  • Welcoming classroom visitors: As part of their role, Eagle Ambassadors greet visitors to their classrooms, provide an overview of the instructional goals and learning targets for the day, and ensure that visitors feel welcome in the learning environment.

In addition to these activities, Eagle Ambassadors work closely with school counselors to further develop the necessary skills for their role, including leadership, communication, and conflict resolution. These training sessions ensure that students are not only acting as role models within the school but also gaining valuable life skills that will benefit them in the future.
