During the March 28 Work Session, the Board of Education approved a transportation proposal that will change the bell school starting the 2023-2024 school year. The changes will divide routes into three tiers, separating the middle and high school routes by adjusting the bell schedule to the following:

• Elementary: 7:30 am – 2:00 pm
• High Schools: 8:15 am – 3:15 pm
• Middle Schools: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This change is based on the following objectives:

• Enhance safety
• Transport middle and high school students separately
• Provide a labor pool to cover vacancies, trips and absences
• Provide a proactive growth strategy
