2026 CTAE Recognitions at August BOE Meeting
Several students & staff members were recognized at the August 4, 2026 BOE meeting for their CTAE accomplishments.
With a choice of 26 different career pathways, Barrow County School System students have the opportunity to earn credentials and college credit in almost any career area of interest.
An advisory committee is a group of volunteers that meet two to three times a year to provide advice and/or support to the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) programs. The primary purpose for advisory committees is to promote greater cooperation between the educational environments and the private sector in preparing students for employment, promoting a quality CTAE education, and ensuring that the skills and technology being taught in the classroom are responsive to the needs of the labor market.
