During the Week long celebration of Read Across America, CLES made STEM the theme of the week. Georgia STEM Day was our culminating event on Friday. During the week we promoted books that supported the STEM theme of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Each day we focused on one aspect of STEM on the CLES Morning Show with a Media Center Moment with Mrs. Padgett. Students came dressed to impress during the week with Mixed Up Monday (dress mixed-matched while you mix some science into your reading), Team Up with Technology Tuesday (dress in your sports gear), Engineer your Future (dress as your future career), Math Counts for Reading Too (dress like a math genius), and Georgia STEM day (dress in your work out gear for a load of STEM challenges).
It was a week of reading, fun and STEM challenges galore!
