Haymon-Morris Middle School was awarded with Zaxby's "Urgency To Serve Grant" in November 2023. HMMS used the grant to build a habitat for wild birds.
HMMS students built build feeders for a STEM elective projective last year. The grant allows for students to apply what they learned from the STEM activity to their new wild bird habitat. Students are encouraged to engage with the natural world by observing wild birds in their native habitat. Our Wildcats are enthusiastic about our new wild bird sanctuary!
