Welcome to Winder Elementary School!

I am proud and delighted to serve as principal of Winder Elementary School for the 2019-2020 school year. At Winder Elementary, we believe in putting our best PAWS forward. We always have a positive attitude, we act responsibly, we work hard, and we show respect. Our PAWS principles ensure that our school is a safe, welcoming, and fun place for all Bullpups to learn and grow.

As principal, it is my honor to lead Winder Elementary School in its mission to provide an exceptional elementary education to every child in a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment. The entire staff will work diligently and responsively to meet the diverse needs of our students, and look forward to partnering with parents and families to ensure a successful school year.

When I am not having fun being a principal, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Jason, is a special education teacher at Gum Springs Elementary School in Jackson County, and we have been married for thirteen years. Our son, Ezra, is in first grade and loves Minecraft and swimming. His sister, Virginia, is two years old and is often heard singing various versions of "Baby Shark."

The 2019-2020 school year is going to be PAWS-itively awesome!
