Mrs. Conklin's 4th grade class investigated the best length for the tail of a kite. They started by using a multiplicative comparison of the length of the sailcloth compared to the length of the tail. They started flying the kites with tails nine times longer than the sailcloth. Then, they cut the tails down to seven times longer, and finally five times longer. Math is fun!!!
