Zai Lawson recently participated in the FCCLA State Leadership Conference. She competed in the STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) event Nutrition and Wellness.
She placed third in the event and earned a silver medal.
The conference was held at the Athens Classic Center from March 17-19.
