I am honored to serve as Holsenbeck Elementary School’s Principal and am fully committed to the continued success of our students. I look forward to partnering with students, staff, and families as we support the common goal of advancing student achievement.

Research shows that children learn best when the significant adults in their lives, parents, teachers, and other family members, work together to encourage and support them. As your child’s first teacher, you are an integral part in the home-school partnership. When people come together to work towards a common goal, great things happen.

Heather Burch

Heather Burch has been a proud part of the Barrow County School System since 2001. During her education career, she's worked at the high school, middle, and elementary level, serving as a classroom teacher for 20 years and an instructional coach for three years. (Most recently, as a Hawk!)

Ms. Burch says she looks forward to partnering with HES families, supporting the efforts of teachers to provide quality instruction, and watching the growth of students as they work to develop their academic and social skills.
