Before & After School Programs

If you are interested in Before/After School care at Holsenbeck Elementary School, you may click here to complete the pre-registration form. Completing this form will not guarantee a spot in our program as space is limited. We will have 100 spots available, and these spots will be filled on a first-come/first-serve basis. All others will be placed on a waiting list. 

You are welcome to print the registration form linked below and have it filled out in advance to save time during Open House. Otherwise, you can complete the registration form at Open House.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

The programs will operate from 6:30 a.m. until 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday on days that Barrow County Schools are in session. Parents may pick up their child(ren) at any time during these hours, but parents must pay full fees regardless of how many days/hours the child(ren) participate(s). 

WHEN BARROW COUNTY SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED, CHILDCARE IS CLOSED.

WHEN BARROW COUNTY SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED, the CHILDCARE PROGRAM WILL BE CLOSED. The program follows the school calendar. If school closes during the day for emergency reasons, information provided on the Emergency Instructions form will be followed. If the program is open three or more days during that week, then the regular rates will apply. If the program is open two days or less, then the rates will be prorated. 

BEFORE SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Morning Childcare Program (6:30 a.m. – 7 a.m.) will be housed in the cafeteria. The drop-off time will be done from 6:30-6:45 a.m. at the bus lane near the front of the school. After 6:57 a.m., parents will have to get in the car rider line and wait to drop their student off at 7 a.m. due to the car and bus traffic flow at the school. The fee for the morning program is $10 per week per child. (Reduced rates apply for multiple children.) 

AFTERNOON CHILDCARE PROGRAM

The Afternoon Childcare Program (2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) will be conducted in different areas of the school. Pick-up will be in the bus lane at the front of the school. The first 30 minutes of the program will be used for snack time. The rest of the time will consist of different activities (homework time, computer lab, playtime and/or movie time, etc.) The fee for the afternoon program is $60 per week per child. (Reduced rates apply for multiple children.) 

PROGRAM FEES

Payment is made on or before Friday of the week before services are provided. All checks should be made out to Holsenbeck Elementary School Childcare. Fees may be prepaid, and credits will be applied to future charges. All accounts should be kept current. Any child(ren) with past due accounts will be withdrawn from the program. Reduced rates apply for multiple children.
