HES is so excited to begin it's newest after-school club, Girls Who Code! Did you know fewer than 1 in 5 computer science graduates are women. Girls Who Code is on a mission to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does.
Who: 3rd - 5th Grade Girls; Ms. Hayes and Ms. Holdren will be facilitating the club
Where: Ms. Hayes' Classroom
When: March 4th - April 1st, Every Wednesday from 3:45 - 4:45 p.m.
Timeline for club and acceptance:
Wednesday, February 19th — Applications are sent home
Tuesday, February 25th — Students must turn in application to homeroom teacher
Friday, February 28th — Students/Parents will be notified of club acceptance/denial
