Holsenbeck students wore pajamas and donated money to benefit adult literacy in Barrow County. We celebrated with an all day DEAR day. We Dropped Everything And Read to build student love of reading!
We would like to thank our Holsenbeck community for supporting our Drop Everything And Read Read-a-thon held on November 18. We raised $1,661.56 for this amazing community resource and were excited to present the check to the director of Adult Literacy Barrow, Sally Brown and Lynn Hammond. We feel great knowing these funds will help support adult learners in Barrow County.
