We're happy to announce Heather Burch as the Assistant Principal of Holsenbeck Elementary School. Ms. Burch has been a proud part of the Barrow County School System since 2001. During her career as an educator, she has worked at the high school, middle, and elementary level, serving as a classroom teacher for 20 years and an instructional coach for three years.
She says Barrow County School System has offered her great opportunities for growth. "While in this district, I have benefited from professional learning in teacher support specialist, gifted certification, reading specialists, arts integration, project-based learning, instructional conversations, and coaching endorsement. All of these programs, with the guidance and support of my colleagues, have helped me better serve our students and families."
