Elijah Webb - 2021 BCSS District Spelling Bee Champion
Congratulations to Elijah Webb, 4th grader at Yargo Elementary, for earning the title of 2021 District Spelling Bee Champion for the Barrow County School System (BCSS). The District Spelling Bee was held digitally on Jan. 22. Elijah spelled 38 out of 50 words correctly. He will represent YES and the Barrow County School System at the District 3 competition.
The runner-up is Celeste Still, a 5th grader at Bramlett Elementary School. If Elijah is unable to compete in the District 3 competition, Celeste will take his place as the BCSS representative.
