Chelsea Ivey

My name is Chelsea Ivey, also known as Mrs. Ivey. I am a first-year elementary school teacher and thrilled to be a part of the Yargo Elementary School family. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a bookkeeper, private preschool teacher, and nanny. I have a fiancé, son, and another child on the way. I graduated from Piedmont College this year, May of 2020, with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have plans to return to receive my master’s degree in the near future. I have a love for animals and have two dogs and a cat. My favorite color is grey and sour candies are my favorite type of candy. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family. I hope to inspire hope in my students, let their imaginations widen, and instill a love for learning in them that will continue to grow.
