gardening club

The garden club tends to the garden by harvesting crops as well as plant seeds and transplants for future harvests. We use our culinary skills in the kitchen with crops from our garden. We learn about composting and tend to our compost area. We also have a worm bin. We tend to the chickens in the coop and hopefully will be collecting eggs soon. Missy Crane of SonRise Farm on Hog Mountain Road is a Partner in Education at Statham and works with our club.
