This is BCSS’s annual fundraiser to support our local food pantry. The district competition - the SOUPer Bowl - runs from January 17 until March 8. The top elementary, middle & high schools will get district recognition. (SOUP stands for Schools Objecting to Unnecessary Poverty.)
At Winder-Barrow, the top 1st period class with highest number of items is guaranteed a donut party. If we're the top high school in the district, that 1st period class will get a pizza party! Schools must have at least 500 items to qualify for a prize. (Six ramen noodles (1 pkg) = 1 item)
Suggested items for donation are: peanut butter, jelly, canned food, rice, macaroni and cheese, ramen noodles and other non-perishables.
