Juniors
Welcome Winder-Barrow High School juniors! As such, we know you all can see the end is near and your senior year awaits just around the corner, or couple of semesters. There are many important tasks and events to be mindful of and complete. First of all, maintain your focus in the classroom and on your graduation requirements. Also, this a great year to start solidifying your plan for after high school. Tasks to consider can include, but are not limited to: register/take the PSAT in the fall for scholarship consideration, taking the ACT/SAT in the spring, consider enrolling in rigorous course/Dual Enrollment, career exploration and shadowing, college tours and increasing your student/community involvement.
The Counseling Department will assist in providing and disseminating necessary info on your junior year, as well as fun info in research, current trends, facts, and more.
Juniors, your time has come! Counselors will have dedicated meetings with you all starting in February and into March for your Junior Meeting.
