Be aware

New/Returning Students - must first complete registration through the Barrow Board of Education's website. Once registration is complete and needed documents (previous transcript, attendance, behavior, special program info, etc.) are received, a school counselor will contact the student/family to have an enrollment meeting.

AP Exam Registration

The deadline for students in fall-only or year-long classes to register is TBD FALL 2025. The deadline for spring-only classes is TBD SPRING 2026.

School counseling lead meetings with students to establish a check-in meeting.

IMPORTANT

We welcome any parent, guardian or student to speak with our counselors regarding circumstances impacting your family. We can discuss school based recommendations, as well as give you resources we deem appropriate. Students are welcome to come to the counseling office any moment they experience an emergency.

If your student has recently been hospitalized or evaluated by a mental health professional, please contact your school counselor to develop a Safety Plan for re-entry into WBHS.

The Winder-Barrow High School Counseling Department believes in the importance of providing student-centered counseling services focusing on education that extends beyond the classroom and into the community. Our goal is to assist all students in developing the lifelong academic, personal/social, and career skills necessary to pursue their individual life goals.
