Stephanie Schaefer

My name is Stephanie Schaefer, and I have taught at Apalachee since 2007. This year, I am teaching 10th Literature, Honors 10th Literature, and Yearbook.

A little bit about me - I have both a bachelor's and a master's degree in English Education from the University of Georgia, and I am embarking on my 14th year of teaching English at Apalachee High School. I am also certified in Gifted Education. In addition, this will be my 3rd year as the yearbook advisor.

I have been married to my husband, Justin, for ten years, and we have two children, Kate who is 6 and Silas who is 2. I am a huge animal lover, and we have 3 fur babies in our family- two cats, Nico and Buckley, and a big old hound dog mutt named Denver.

I am an avid reader, and I love to travel. I have been to 16 countries so far, and I look forward to adding more to that list in the future.
