Why you chose the profession: When I was growing up my sister had speech therapy. I was her interpreter for most of her early years and I was fascinated by it. When I went to grad school, my goal was to work In a Pediatric hospital like Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Fun fact: She is related to Thomas Jefferson.
