Seven teachers at the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy have been honored to receive Zaxby's Urgency to Serve Grants. The recipients were Anabel Snyder, Charles Clark, Gretchen Hollingsworth, Casey Nissenbaum, April Balenger, Anne Locke Ridgway, and Ashley Bailey (not pictured). These grants are designed to promote creative learning and projects in classrooms and beyond. Our grant recipients will use these funds to do things like start podcasts, purchase class sets of books, host innovation professional learning opportunities, offer book clubs, and build little libraries for our local community. We are proud to house the type of creative and innovative teachers who receive these grants. Congratulations, Blazers!
