Cancellation/Refund Policies

Dance Tickets (including prom)

Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, the event will be rescheduled. If the dance is postponed indefinitely due to Covid-19, unforeseen circumstances or an emergency shutdown, BASA will make every attempt to hold a commensurate activity as soon as circumstances allow.

Parking Passes

Parking permit for the current school year from first day of school (or date purchased if after the start of school) through the final day of school.  The yearly fee to park on campus is $50.  Students who only need a parking pass for spring semester may pay the prorated amount of $25.  At Sims Academy, students are allowed to park if they have paid for a parking pass at their home school.

Graduation Ceremony Supplies/décor, security, sound/production, programs, etc.

The graduation ceremony is paid for within the school and district budget. If graduation is cancelled, delayed or altered to accommodate issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations, there will be no monetary refund issued.

Junior Dues

Dues will include:

• 1 ticket for Junior Prom
• 1 ticket for Senior Prom, and
• special Senior Class activities throughout the year as determined by BASA

Junior Dues are non-refundable. If unforeseen circumstances or emergency shutdown results in the alteration or cancellation of planned events, there will be no monetary refund and BASA will make every effort to provide satisfactory alternatives that fall within any issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations.

Senior Fees

Dues will be determined and they will cover:

• Graduation Regalia (cap, gown, tassel, stole)
• Diploma, Diploma Cover
• Honor Cord/Highest Distinction Cord (if earned)

Senior Fees will be non-refundable. If unforeseen circumstances or emergency shutdown results in the alteration or cancellation of planned events, there will be no monetary refund and BASA will make every effort to provide satisfactory alternatives that fall within any issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations.

Single Game Athletic Events

• All tickets are purchased through the GoFan app. In the event that a game is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, GoFan will issue refunds upon receipt of the school’s notification that the game has not been rescheduled.
• All Sports Passes are not currently offered at BASA.
  • In the event that BASA begins offering an All Sports Pass:
    • the cost will be determined at that time.
    • they will be used for any home regular season athletic event (both Varsity and Sub-Varsity) during the school year with the exception of pre-season scrimmages, region tournaments, holiday tournaments and state playoff games.
    • they will be non-refundable. In the event that the scheduled events are cancelled, delayed or altered to accommodate issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations, there will be no monetary refund issued.
• Sport Specific Season Passes are not currently offered at BASA.
  • In the event that BASA begins offering sports specific season passes:
    • the cost will be determined at that time.
    • they will be used for any home regular season athletic event (both Varsity and Sub-Varsity) for the selected sport during the school year with the exception of pre-season scrimmages, region tournaments, holiday tournaments and state playoff games.
    • they may be refunded in the event that an entire season is cancelled prior to the first event. Once events for the season have begun, no refunds will be issued.

Band Dues and Fees

In the event that scheduled events are cancelled, delayed or altered to accommodate issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations, there will be no monetary refund issued for dues. Exceptions are trips paid for and not taken or goods paid for and not received.

Club and Athletic Program Dues and Fees

In the event that scheduled events are cancelled, delayed or altered to accommodate issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations, there will be no monetary refund issued for dues. Exceptions are trips paid for and not taken or goods paid for and not received.

Fine Arts Events

In the event that scheduled events are cancelled, delayed or altered to accommodate issued guidelines, restrictions, or safety recommendations, BASA will make every attempt to reschedule the event as soon as circumstances allow. If rescheduling is not possible, there will be no monetary refund issued.
