7Mindsets Models of the Month

Congratulations to our 7Mindsets Models of the Month for February 2022!  These Blazers have really been shining on our campus this month.

Kaycie was nominated by Mr. O'Shields for the following mindsets: We are Connected and Attitude of Gratitude.

Here's what Mr. O'Shields had to say about Kaycie: "I teach Kaycie in Honors Chemistry. She is also a member of our CREW. This young lady is always so positive and pleasant. She is quick to say "Thank you" for the smallest of deeds. I have been extremely impressed by Kaycie's gentle disposition . . . she is extremely kind-spirited each day to her teachers and to her fellow classmates. This BASA student is an awesome asset to our school and community. I feel so fortunate to know Kaycie. I have no doubt that this young lady will go very far in the future!"

Zaharah was nominated by Ms. Nissenbaum for the following mindset: Passion First

Here's what Ms. Nissenbaum ad to say about Zaharah: "Zaharah is always positive, and she passionately pursues everything she sets her mind to. She inspires me!"

Alexis was nominated by Mrs. Noles for the following mindset: 100% Accountable.

Here's what Mrs. Noles had to say about Alexis: "Alexis is super responsible with her assignments.  If she misses an assignment or forgets to turn in something (which doesn't happen very often) she contacts me, making arrangements to get it to me.  She is always honest about it and works hard to be accountable."

Adam was nominated by Mr. Griffing for the following mindset: Everything is Possible.

Here's what Mr. Griffing had to say about Adam: "Adam has been tasked with adding a robotic arm to the SWAT robot. As he is faced with obstacles, his attitude is to look at it as an opportunity, not an insurmountable problem. It's not 'You can't do that', it is 'You can't do it that way, so how will we make it happen'. He demonstrates a very can-do attitude. Oh, he is also starting up his own skateboard company at the same time, so...he is not afraid of a challenge...or three."

Lexi was nominated by Ms. Schreibman for the following mindsets: Live to Give and We are Connected.

Here's what Ms. Schreibman had to say about Lexi: "Lexi is often lifting up other students.  She does not hesitate to lend a hand, a smile or a positive comment.  She is kind to others and can find nice things to say, even when she doesn't quite feel like it.  I don't think she knows how important her connections to other students are.  I have seen her brighten the day of her classmates and give them a boost when they were least expecting it, but sometimes when they needed it the most!"

Mrs. Noles was nominated by Mr. Clark for the following mindset: Attitude of Gratitude.

Here's what Mr. Clark had to say about Mrs. Noles: "Mrs. Noles has been and continues to be an amazing partner on the eSports program. She has been a delight to work with and makes every session more awesome. She is always humble, hardworking, and laughing. She has an incredible attitude of thankfulness for everything she encounters. This appreciation for all that she has clearly drives all her interactions. I am appreciative that I've had this opportunity to work with her and am very grateful for all that she has done. Thank you!"

Ms. Shaw was nominated by Dr. Farist for the following mindset: Live to Give.

Here's what Dr. Farist had to say about Ms. Shaw: "Ms. Shaw is always very helpful in trying to give my students accommodations. She has been pulled in a lot of directions this year and has to be very flexible. She goes above and beyond to come help me and my kids when I reach out to her and covers when others cannot come. All while maintaining a good attitude."
