Mrs. Hartness, one of our Social Studies faculty members and a doctoral candidate in Public Policy, was recently published in the academic journal Religions. The article discusses the effects of civil religion on polarization, and how civic engagement education in universities can help solve the negative impacts of extreme partisanship. The article went through a rigorous screening process before being accepted into the peer-reviewed journal. We are proud of Mrs. Hartness for this step on her academic journey!
