Heather Wright

Heather Wright is a Winder native. Having attended schools in Barrow County, she feels very honored to have her own kids in the same district. The growth and advancement of Barrow County Schools amazes her daily.

She worked as a barber before becoming a mother. After the birth of her first child, she became a stay-at-home mom for 14 years before reentering the workforce. As a stay-at-home mom, she was the owner of a small cake business, Cake Wrights, and ran an in-home daycare. Before Sims, she was a substitute teacher for Barrow County. She is the wife to her high school sweetheart and the mother of three wonderful children.
