Cheri Schreibman is a transplant to Georgia who grew up in the great state of Iowa.  She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with Bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Flute Performance.  After receiving her Master's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in conducting from the University of South Carolina, she came to Georgia to teach.  Prior to coming to Barrow County, Mrs. Schreibman taught at North Cedar High School in Stanwood, Iowa and was the Director of Bands at Eagle's Landing High School in McDonough, Georgia for 18 years.

Cheri enjoys spending time with her husband, her daughter and their 2 German Shepherds, Cash and Luna.  Her hobbies include painting, knitting, crochet and reading.  In 2010, Mrs. Schreibman was awarded her second degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate.
