Jackson EMC is excited to announce our Summer Line Worker Intern Program will be launching soon. This is the second year of having the program.

What is the program?

The program is an 8-week paid internship working with Jackson EMC line crews. This opportunity is a true summer internship and will not convert into a full-time position, but is a great way to find out if you have interest in a line worker career prior to going to lineman school or contracting work.

Participants will learn about what our crews do to maintain our lines and keep the lights on as well as what is needed to stay safe in the field.

How to apply?

The job will be posted on the Jackson EMC careers site in mid-April. Applicants will need to apply by visiting https://www.jacksonemc.com/my-cooperative/careers. You must have a current resume prepared and there will be formal interviews for these positions.
