Our community’s suicide prevention taskforce worked over the summer to put together a presentation for parents entitled, “A Conversation Worth Having with your Teen.” There will be two speakers – Dr. Latrina Slater from SEC and Adam Raulerson from Laurelwood.
This presentation will be done at every high school and feeder schools are invited – also, if a parent misses one of the nights because of a conflict, they can go to the event at another high school even if they are not zoned for that school. The presentations will also be recorded and live streamed.
The first event at BASA on August 26. The second event will be at AHS on September 29. The finally at WBHS on October 21. The website the with dates and times is below. Please share with those you know and attend where you can.
